Winter Fest is a project of The United Church of Big Rapids, Michigan.  We are a Union Congregation of the two denominations of the United Church of Christ and the Presbyterian Church, USA.

Our goal is to provide a high-energy weekend of activities for 6^th grade through High School Youth while encompassing a Christian theme.

This event is planned as a total experience that should only be attended by youth groups that can arrive by the end of registration on Friday and stay through worship on Sunday.

SPACE IS LIMITED!  DON’T DELAY! REQUEST, COMPLETE, AND RETURN REGISTRATION MATERIALS AND FEES DUE WHILE THERE IS STILL SPACE.  REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FEB. 1, 2010.

Activities:  Skiing, Snowboarding, X-Country Skiing, reading by the fire, board games, bring your own VCR or DVD movies, and an evening at Ferris State University’s Student Activity Center.  Worship Sunday morning.

Sleeping:  We will be sleeping on the floors of the various rooms at The United Church, Big Rapids.

Food: Registration includes snacks Friday night, breakfast Saturday morning, dinner Saturday night, snacks Saturday night, and Breakfast Sunday morning.  You provide your dinner on Friday night before you arrive, and your whole group plans lunch on Saturday at Caberfae Peaks Ski Resort.

Costs: $20.00 Registration fee, plus your costs for skiing or snowboarding.  You may send the Registration money and forms now (printable document links below).  We require one church check to cover all registrations.  You may separately send the money for Ski rental, snowboard rental, and lift tickets and the required forms for this activity must reach our church office no later than Monday noon on February 8, 2010.  We also require that one church check pay for this activity.   The costs are $24.00 for lift ticket, $23.00 for rental of skis or snowboard.  These prices cover from 9:00 a.m. until we leave the ski resort.  The $20.00 Registration fee includes a Winter Fest T-Shirt.

Time: From Friday evening registration (7:30-9:30 PM) thru Sunday morning worship (11:00 AM). 

Space:  We have a limited number of registrants that we can accommodate.  The first 125 with the paid $20.00 event registrations and registration / permission forms to reach our church office will be able to attend (must be submitted as a church group).
