About Us

The United Church of Big Rapids is a congregation built from the union of Presbyterian and Congregational churches in 1948. With the support of both the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the United Church of Christ we are a gathering of people on a journey of faith, seeking to love God and neighbor. No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey you, and your questions, are welcome here. 

Sunday worship service begins at 9:30 a.m. in our sanctuary. Children and Youth are dismissed from the service at 9:45 a.m. to attend Sunday School classes. Immediately following the service at 10:30 a.m. is a fellowship time with coffee and treats in our basement dining hall.

Communion is served the 1st Sunday of each month.

Nursery care, wireless hearing aides and large-print bulletins are available. Speak to an usher for assistance.
