The United Church Charity Knitting Group

Since April 2007, about fourteen United Church knitters have made and donated to local charities:  117 bears, 11 hats, 22 pair of slippers, 12 baby hats, 8 pair of baby booties, 1 pair of mittens, 1 shawl, and 17 afghans, and many, many more squares waiting to become afghans.  Thank you, knitters!

We will continue to meet the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the parlor to spend an hour or so knitting together.  Please join us!  If you can’t join us but wish to contribute knitted items, there is a collection box in the church office.  The group is also in need of more yarn (machine washable) and fiber fill (for the bears).  Any and all contributions are appreciated.
